A little about the Captain

Welcome and thank you for visiting my website.

I'm originally from Glenview, Illinois, a northern suburb of Chicago. I've been fishing southwest Florida waters since I was a kid, and I'm not a kid any longer. I moved to Naples 20+ years ago and now reside on Marco Island.

Safety

The first responsibility of any USCG licensed Captain is the safety of his (or her) passengers. To that end, I have taken every precaution. In addition to the USCG required safety equipment, the Swamp Angel IV carries an ACR EPIRB (Emergency Position Indicating Beacon) that when triggered sends a distress signal to the USCG with my exact position. I also have Radar, driven by state-of -the-art electronics from Ray Marine and Simrad electronics.

Quality

Combining the highest quality vessel, electronics and fishing gear will insure a great day on the water and optimize your opportunities to land quality game fish from the Southwest Gulf of Mexico.
